Once approved it will go before the voters at the Annual Town Meeting on April 29, 2023.
After meeting with the Finance Board, the Board will provide a recommended budget to the Board of Selectmen for the Town Meeting Warrant. All meetings are public, so residents can attend, watch live on Channel 8 and view on our YouTube Channel where meetings are usually posted within 24 hours after they air. One-on-one meetings with the departments and Finance Board will begin the following week. The Digital Budget Book detailing the department requests and explanations will be released in the first week of January on our website to the public and reviewed by the Finance Board.
Departments will then meet with the Town Administrator and Town Accountant to discuss their primary budgets and submit their requests for consideration by the Finance Board by December 31st.
